1. How do I order books?

A member account is required before purchases can be made. For more details please refer to Information --> Ordering section from the menu at the top of the page.   

2. How do I find out the status of my order?

Unless otherwise advised an order will be pending until it is shipped in which case an email will be sent confirming this. If an order is cancelled or refunded for any reason then you will be notified by email. 

3. Are my personal and credit card details safe when I purchase on-line?

Be assured that Romantic Reflections keeps all personal information submitted to it in the strictest confidence. The information is stored on a secured server and is only used to process orders from the web-site. This information will not be released to anyone other than those necessary to fulfil your order. All personal information remains private and secure and will not be loaned out, sold to or shared with other parties. However, should a situation arise where we are required by law or legal process to provide information about a customer we are obligated to comply with this request. For more details on our Privacy Policy go to Information --> Privacy Policy from the menu at the top of the screen.
Please email us at enquiries@romancebookstore.com.au if at any time you wish to know what information we hold about you. Romantic Reflections does not store any credit card details on the web-site database or on the server. All credit card payments go through a secure payment site called PayPal. Please refer to Information --> Payments -->Credit Cards or go to http://www.paypal.com.au for more details. 

4. How do I search for a particular book or author?

There are 3 ways of searching for a specific book or author:

• if you know the name of the book, type it in the Quick Search box at the top of each page and click Search, or, if you know the author name type it in and click Search, or go to
• Detailed Search at the top of each page. This will open a page with a number of option boxes. Type any details that you know in the fields provided – being, Author, Book name, Book category, ISBN, Format, Release date, and click Search, or
• select either Authors or Books from the top menu and navigate from there.

5. What do I do when I can’t find a particular book or author on your web-site?

Romantic Reflections takes pride in serving its customers so we will try our hardest to satisfy your requests. From time to time what you are looking for may not be on the web-site (remember we are new and constantly updating the database). Please contact us through the contacts page on the web-site giving as much detail as possible and we will reply within 2 business days. 

6. How do I get more details about a particular author?

Our web-site does not store author details and their particulars other than their name and web-site if available. You may find out more by selecting a book by the author of your choice. Click on that book’s description which takes you to the detailed description page. From here you may click on the Author and a new window opens up with their web-site details and other names that they may write under. If they do not have a web-site then it will be blank. If you come across any incorrect information that we may have inadvertently added please contact us on feedback@romancebookstore.com.au.  

7. What do I do if I want a book outside of the Romance genre?

Romantic Reflections is a specialist book seller hence our concentration and focus on romantic fiction. We would appreciate that requests are usually limited to this, however, we will be happy to assess other requests made and offer an alternative to you should we not be able to assist you. We will be happy to help you with your mystery and young adult book requests when these genres become available on the web-site.

8. How do I navigate the web-site?

If you would like to generally browse for books then you may click any button on the menu to the left, such as New Listings, Upcoming Releases any of the Romance sub-categories, Mystery/Thriller (coming soon) or Young Adult (coming soon)

Another way is to click on the Detailed Search option at the top of each page and fill in the option boxes (at least one is required) and click Search.

Alternatively, you may like to access various areas through the menu options at the top.

There is also a Site Map option on the bottom menu. Selecting this will bring up a summary of each menu and the options available under each menu item.

9. How many and which books do you have in stock?

There are many books listed on the web-site but not all will be in stock. Book orders are placed with our supplier in the U.S. every Friday. The supplier delivers to Australia each Monday and Thursday. Depending on availability of books they are usually delivered to us within 3 to 4 weeks of you placing the order. If a book is out of stock then it will be backordered and will be shipped when stock becomes available. If a book has not yet been released it will be pre-ordered and will be despatched the day after its release in the U.S. If the book that has been ordered is in stock by us we will post it immediately upon your payment clearing.

We are constantly updating our web-site with new and upcoming releases and being a new site we would like to build up our database of previously released books by popular authors.We are committed to satisfying our customers so if there is a particular book that you would like please contact us at enquiries@romancebookstore.com.au and we will do our best to find it. 

10. How do I get more details from the selections made?

Depending on the selections that you have made, a list of books will be displayed and the total number of books will also be displayed for this selection. This means that these books are listed but stock availability won’t be known until an order is put through.

- To find out more details about the book click on the title or on the brief description. This will bring you to new page with a detailed description of the book, the option to buy the book and the option to write an on-line review about the book. Go to Information --> Romantic Reviews for more details.

- To find more books by that author click on the author’s name which will then display all the books by them that are listed on the web-site’s database.

- To find more books released in the same month and year as that which is displayed by a particular book then click on the Release date and a list of books with the same release date will be displayed.

- To find more books in the same category then click on the category option within the book summary box and all books within that category listed on the web-site will be displayed.

- Alternatively you input a combination of any of these options which narrows down your selection further.

11. What is a wish list?

As you navigate around the site you may find books that you wish to buy or you would like to write a review on or would like to know more about so adding them to a wish list is an ideal way to refer back to them. This is not an obligation to buy. You may access your wish list by clicking on Wish List at the top of the web-site page. This will display all books chosen and from here you may add to cart with a view to purchasing, you may write a review or you can remove them from the list. The wish list is saved on exit.

12. What are my payment options?

There are a number of payment options available. Please refer to Information --> Payments from the menu at the top of the page for more details.  

13. What is your privacy policy?

Romantic Reflections is committed to protecting you the customer and the personal information that you provide to us. For more details please refer to Information --> Privacy Policy from the menu at the top of the page.

14. What is your returns policy?

Books may be returned (not for first time customers) but have to be in a re-saleable condition. Please refer to Information --> Returns from the menu at the top of the page for more details. 

15. Do you ship internationally and what are your shipping costs?

Romantic Reflections posts all over Australia and overseas and tries to keep postage costs as low as possible. We only charge what we are charged by Australia Post. There is no handling fee. International postage costs are available upon request. For more details please go to Information --> Postage & Shipping from the menu at the top of the page.

There is a FX converter option at the bottom of the page if you wish to view a book price in a different currency.    

16. What are Romantic Rewards and how do I apply?

Romantic Rewards is our loyalty program and you are automatically enrolled on your first purchase. All records are kept by Romantic Reflections. Please refer to Information --> Romantic Rewards from the menu at the top of the page for more details. 

17. What are Romantic Reviews?

Romantic Reviews is a way for customers to post a review on books that they have bought or read. You must have a member account to write a review. Go to Information --> Romantic Reviews for more details.

19. Am I able to cancel an order and how do I do it?

Yes, you may unless books have been shipped by us to you. If you wish to cancel an order please contact Romantic Reflections on orders@romancebookstore.com.au.

- If you have not paid we will cancel it through our system in which case you will receive an email confirming cancellation.

- If you have paid we will wait once funds have been cleared and will transfer the full amount back to you by direct deposit (bank account details will be required) or credit card (depending on the original payment method). Again an email confirming cancellation will be sent to you and then another email confirming the refund.

- If books have been shipped then you will need to satisfy the conditions of the returns policy to receive a refund. Please go to Information --> Returns for more details on this.
